The Village Academy

The Village Academy is a group of town, city and village schools that have joined together to provide the very best education for the children in our care and where we believe that education is very much a matter of the individual.

Clubs & Wider Opportunities

Wider Opportunities

We offer a number of clubs and other activities throughout the year. We regularly join with our partner schools from the Village Academy to share in sporting and enrichment activities.

Each year, Years 4, 5 and 6 are invited to the Swattenden Centre in Kent, where they take part in team building and other outdoor challenges. For our Gifted and Talented children, the Academy provides enrichment activities throughout the year, drawing on the strengths and talents of our best teachers.

We have a number of clubs running from term to term at which all children can have a go at a different activities.

Theatre Club

The Club was set up in February 2014 by parents of children at the school, with two aims:

  • To enable and encourage children of all  backgrounds to experience live theatre
  • To enable families to access group booking rates.

We are working with the school to take advantage of local drama opportunities and to facilitate more affordable class trips to the theatre in the future. If you would like to help out with theatre club as a volunteer please contact Jo Taborn or the office.
