Academy Young Cooks Competition
The first Village Academy Young Cooks Competition - hosted by KM Charity - took place this afternoon at Petham School.
A range of amazing dishes was cooked or baked (Trust me, they were delicious, Mrs Deysel sampled most if them!) and a panel of 3 judges decided which recipe was the best one for each school. A big ‘well done!’ to Anoushka from Owl Class for winning the Petham first place with her rhubarb crumble, with rhubarb from her own garden.
The overal Academy winner came from Milstead with the tastiest risotto I have had in a long time. Well done to Milstead School!
And a big ‘thank you’ to Mrs King, who organised this wonderful event.
More (and better!) pictures to follow soon.
