Year 6 watches Coppelia in London
Today our Year 6 children travelled by train to London to watch a special performance of the ballet Coppelia in the Royal Opera House.
We were all amazed by the beautiful building itself, the ballet, the way they changed the scenery on the stage (they especially left the curtains open for us so we could see this), the live orchestra and, of course, the ballet dancers themselves. The ice-cream during interval was a real treat too!
Mrs Blake, Mrs Metcalfe and Mrs Deysel were extremely pleased with the immaculate behaviour of the children throughout the day. They did Petham proud!
