Welcome

Petham Primary School is a small rural primary school, situated in picturesque Kent countryside near Canterbury. We have a little over 100 pupils in the school, from Reception to Year 6, and the children are taught in 4 classes, with mixed year groups in each.

We are very lucky to have some wonderful resources and facilities in the school, including an ICT suite, large field, large hall and various playground areas.

Our philosophy and belief is in providing a rich and exciting curriculum and learning experience for the children. We plan our lessons so they are linked together with a ‘topic’ based approach and though we have high expectations of children’s formal work, we encourage creativity and self-expression.
