I joined the Local Monitoring Council for Petham Primary School in February 2025, being local to Petham and always having had an interest in education. I ran my own nursery school in a younger life, then went on to be a science teacher at secondary level. This culminated in becoming a headteacher at 3 Kent schools, and I have now been retired for 8 years. 

Jane is responsible for monitoring Curriculum & Teaching and EYFS during visits to the school.
