Homework

On this page you will find links to your child's homework tasks. The tasks have been designed by class teachers to compliment your child's learning at school. These tasks are optional.

What does homework look like?

EYFS & Key Stage One:

Each child has access to two reading books. One has been matched to their phonic ability and the second is a reading for pleasure text from our school library. Each child is also encouraged to complete the weekly tasks assigned by their class teacher, found in the termly home work grid.

Key Stage Two:

Each child has access to two reading books. One book will come from the Accelerated Reading scheme and the second a reading for pleasure text from the library. Each child in key stage two will also have weekly spellings set each Monday by the class teacher. Spellings are checked in a weekly spelling check on a Friday morning.

What if my child would like to complete more homework?

Each pupil has access to an online learning platform called Emile. Here you will find open access to additional phonics, spelling and maths activities. A link to Emile can be found further down this page. Please request your child's log in details from the class teacher by using Tapestry.
