Uniform

We have an inclusive uniform policy which encourages the children to take a pride in their appearance and require all children to wear school uniform: 

 

  • Grey or black shorts or trousers 
  • Grey or black pinafore, skirt or skort 
  • Light blue or white shirt, polo shirt or blouse
  • Blue checked/gingham dress
  • Navy jumper, fleece, sweatshirt or cardigan
  • Grey or black socks or tights
  • Black or navy shoes or sandals

 

 

General

 

Children may require a bookbag to transport their reading books, reading record and homework. 

 

Packed lunch, snack and water bottle can be brought in in a disposable bag or small lunch bag or satchel.

 

Children should not come to school in make-up, dyed hair, nail varnish or jewellery.  Ear studs, but not earrings,  may be worn. For safety reasons we ask that longer hair should be tied back neatly for any physical activity and ear studs need to be removed or taped.

 

Parents are asked to mark all items of clothing and other property clearly with the name of the owner.

 

Uniform can be ordered via School Trends but uniform from other retailers, without the Petham logo, is also allowed.
